Beverages is an independent beer and wine merchant, selling through distributors
in the United States. ACR Beverages began importing Cameroon beers to the
US in 1996. The company founder discovered the wonderful beers while on
a trip to Cameroon. He describes an unforgettable experience when the breweries
released their aromas over the city: “It was like a cooling breeze in the
excruciating heat of Douala”. Since then, he had been developing relationships
with Africa’s finest beverage makers to bring their products to Americans
seeking taste, color and aroma in their drinks.
Our Products
ACR beverages selections are exclusively
geared towards the small manufacturers, and away from the more industrial
manufacturers. We support farmers who preserve their soil by avoiding the
many chemical fertilizers and pesticides commonly used on malts, maize,
grapes and other fruits. We purchase from small manufacturers who abide
by the strict rules that govern the beer and wine making process. As a result of these practices, we offer to our customers natural and more flavorful beverages. African beverages perfectly fit our selection criteria; they are made in small quantities using the purest
ingredients. ACR Beverages offers several beers and wines from Cameroon,
Kenya, and Zimbabwe that are truly rich in flavor and unique in their taste.
